Update

9:05a.m.

So that what looks inevitable will not take anyone by surprise, I need to give you all the information. Robert took a turn for the worst last night and it does not look good at all. The doctors have done all they can and his vital functions (reflexes and electrolytes) are not responding. There is one final test that needs to be performed to confirm whether there is any brain activity. We are now in the process of waiting for the details to work out regarding this test, and it does not look hopeful. We are hoping for a miracle, but if Jesus wants him home, there is nothing we can do about it. I will update again when we know more.

This is devastating news. I'm crushed. Paul, thanks you so much for the information. I'm still Praying for Robert!

I'm sorry there isn't anything that I can say that doesn't sound trite. My family is praying for Robert and the family with all of our hearts.

I graduated a year behind Robert
(1991)...However I remember him.

Anyways, Our family will be in constnat thought and prayer for your family!

God can perform miracles and he is in control of all. I pray that God believes the way we do that it's not time for Robert to go. So much for him to do with his life and so many things to see his children accomplish!

God Bless you all,

I heard that Robert passed away this afternoon.
How comforting to know that our departed loved ones are with the Lord forevermore. As God's word says "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
In the loss of our VVC brother Robert there is so little one can say, so little one can do when you have lost a loved one who has meant so much to you. But, please know that you're thought in a warm and caring way by many who are close to you and share your loss today.
God Bless you all in a very special way.
